While the Daily Mail weathers a very public beating and widespread accusations of homophobia after Joan Moir's Stephen Gately article, a darker side of the debate bubble underneath. Simon Mill's article on bearded footballers shows how shortsighted the paper is on beards as well. it may be the article entitled 'Why do men love beards when women hate them', but then beards don't have an online hate campaign running against them at the moment.
