The Beard Parlour

The Modern Beardsmith’s Beard Parlour is the magazine’s travelling embodiment. A pop shop of barbers, DJs, artists, musicians and gents, The Parlour travels the length of the UK to make sure that any Beardsmith’s facial hair will not suffer at the hands of the UK’s festivals, club nights and events. Feet may get sodden, clothes may smell but a man’s beard, and therefore pride, never need suffer again.

The Parlour has been able to style, snip and trim beards, paint those that lack the capacity to properly motivate their follicles, DJ, teach croquet and host lectures on pipe smoking at a range of events.

Along the way hosted the 1000+ capacity Moustache Bar at Beach Break Live, painted the laughing faces of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, taught Glastonbury how a real gin and tonic should be made, as well as hosting the monthly South London club night Stereo:Type.
